About this website

Welcome to Shalom Ooty. This website introduces our brand, our work with women artisans and our product collections. It currently serves as an information and product catalogue website. We are not currently selling products through this website or accepting online orders or payments.

Product information and enquiries

Product photographs and descriptions illustrate our collections. Displaying an item does not confirm stock, price or availability and does not create an offer to sell. An enquiry does not place an order or create a purchase agreement.

Handcrafted work may vary in pattern, texture and finish. Colours may also appear differently on different screens. Contact us if you would like to learn more about a particular piece.

Using our website

Please use this website lawfully. Do not attempt to disrupt its operation, gain unauthorised access, submit harmful material or impersonate another person. When contacting us, provide accurate information and avoid sending unnecessary sensitive personal details.

Content and cultural heritage

Our website text, photographs, branding and other original materials belong to their respective rights holders. Please ask for permission before reproducing them for commercial use. Nothing on this website claims exclusive ownership of the Toda community’s traditional knowledge, designs or cultural heritage.

Accuracy and availability

We aim to keep the information on this website useful and accurate, but content may change and occasional errors or interruptions may occur. Future online sales

If online purchasing becomes available, we will publish the relevant ordering, payment, delivery, cancellation and returns information before accepting online orders.
